How Lusha Works
Lusha is available as:
-
Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Edge extensions
-
Search and Filter Platform
-
Application Programmable Interface (API)
Lusha’s Chrome, Firefox, and Edge extensions reveal B2B contact information from LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Gmail, Salesforce, and more.
Statistics show that 80-89% of B2B marketers use LinkedIn because millions of its users are key decision-makers. Likewise, a 2021 analysis by Content Marketing Institute shows that 82% of B2B companies use X.
These statistics affirm that LinkedIn and X are two of the most powerful tools that sales executives, marketers, and recruiters can use to reach and connect with their potential leads.
The way the Lusha Chrome extension works is really simple. Start by installing the extension to your browser and signing up for Lusha using your work email (sign-up is free).
Next, visit your social media or company website of choice, let’s say LinkedIn, and search for the people you wish to get in touch with directly.
Once you get a potential lead, click on the blue Lusha icon at the top right-hand side to see their personal phone number and email address. Lastly, you can save their details into your Lusha account or CRM. For every profile you can choose to reveal their phone numbers, emails, or all contact details by clicking “show”. For each type of contact detail that is revealed, one type of credit (email or phone) is subtracted from your balance. Let’s talk about Lusha pricing, plans, and costs for 2024.
Lusha Review: Plans and Pricing
Lusha has four pricing plans: Free, Pro, Premium, and Scale.
Free
Signing up with Lusha is free; you don’t even need to provide your credit card information. With the free plan, you get five credits per month that you can use to uncover contact information for five different prospects.
Here are the features that you get with the Lusha Free plan:
-
Direct and landline phone numbers
-
Email addresses
-
Email sequencing
-
A basic prospecting platform
Pro
The Lusha Pro plan. This plan gives you 480 credits, which can only be used by one user. However, there’s an option to buy 960 credits for up to two users, 1140 credits for up to three users, and so on.
The Pro plan includes all the features of the Free plan plus the following:
-
List management - allows you to organize and manage your prospect list on the Lusha platform or CRM.
-
List export - this function allows you to export your potential prospects’ contact information elsewhere, for instance, to a CSV or Excel file.
-
Team management - allocate credits and more easily route leads to team members.
-
Shared credit pool - with this feature, your team can uncover contact information using the same pool of credits - no need to allocate several credits to a particular user.
Premium
The Lusha Premium Plan. With this plan, each user gets 960 credits, valid for a year. You can also get double, triple, or quadruple that amount of credits for 2, 3, 4 users, and even more.
The Premium plan offers all the features of the Lusha Pro plan in addition to the following:
-
Prospecting bulk show - this feature eliminates the need to prospect contact by contact, allowing you to target up to 25 prospects at once.
-
Extension bulk show - it lets you reveal up to 25 contacts at once using the Lusha extension tool.
-
Usage analytics - gives you insight into your team's credit usage for efficient management.
Scale
The Lusha Scale tier is for larger teams and enterprise-level businesses that do large-scale prospecting, marketing, or recruiting. It's customizable, meaning you get a package based on your needs and circumstances. It's pricier than all Lusha plans, but having unlimited credits may be more beneficial if you need to get as many high-quality leads as possible.
The Lusha Scale plan offers you all the features of the Premium, plus the following:
-
Buyer intent signals
-
Job change alerts and filtering
-
CSV enrichment
-
Prospecting bulk show (up to 1000 contacts)

Lusha Pros and Cons
Pros
Data Accuracy
The ability to extract a potential lead's actual phone number or email address is a business's greatest weapon in today's market. This is the greatest advantage that Lusha offers its users. Lusha claims a confidence level of 80%, but some users report levels of up to 95%, which is incredible. That said, you won't be hitting the bullseye every single time.
Very Easy to Use
Lusha is not only impressively accurate, but it's also a breeze to use. We like that there's a browser extension that searches for contact information even without you actioning it to do so.
Even the platform itself is easy to navigate, with the ability to add custom search filters from the moment you sign up and log in.
If you're not techy enough for its API, install the browser extension, and you'll be extracting direct contact info for leads in minutes.
Lusha Integrations
Lusha's seamless integration with other CRM and data management tools saves you quality time that you can use for things that matter most. Lusha offers supported integrations with these tools:
-
Zapier
-
Hubspot CRM
-
Gmail
-
Salesforce Sales Cloud
-
Pipedrive
-
SalesLoft
-
Elay
-
Surfe
-
Zluri
-
Linkedojet
-
Outreach
-
Bullhorn ATS and CRM
-
Microsoft Outlook
Cons
Not Always Accurate
Like other prospecting tools, Lusha is not always 100% correct. Unfortunately, you'll still be charged a credit even if the contact information you uncovered is inaccurate. At least they offer you the chance to flag data as inaccurate so it can be prioritized by their data team.
Comparably Pricier
Enriching your database with direct numbers using Lusha means you can reach more potential leads in a short time. However, this advantage comes at a cost. Although purchasing a higher credit package saves you some money through discounts, Lusha is still pricier than many of its competitors.
